Admissions Coffee Hour with Faculty
Description
Join the Admissions team for a coffee hour conversation with Adjunct Faculty Shauna Gauthier, MA, LMHC, LPC, a therapist and educator with over with more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit and mental health sectors. A Seattle School alumna herself, Shauna brings her clinical expertise into the classroom as the professor of Assessment & Treatment of Trauma & Abuse, a required course within the Concentration in Narrative Focused Trauma Care (CNFTC).
This course equips students to work with survivors of interpersonal violence, building foundations in complex trauma, trauma-informed care, vicarious traumatization, and evidence-based practices in the field. During this coffee hour, Shauna will speak from her clinical practice and teaching experience, offering a firsthand look at what it means to train as a trauma-focused therapist at The Seattle School.
Whether you're exploring the MACP program, the Concentration in Narrative Focused Trauma Care, or simply want to connect, we'd love to have you join us.
Each Admissions Coffee Hour features a different voice and perspective from The Seattle School. Bring your questions and curiosity. We'd love to connect and share what life in our learning community is really like.
Zoom details will be sent after you register.
